Canopy, Skylight, Atrium and Solar Cleaning The Glass Nothing Else Reaches.

Glass canopies, skylights, atrium roofs, awnings and rooftop solar arrays are the surfaces most cleaning companies quietly leave off the proposal, because a pole cannot reach them and a lift cannot be placed under them. Our aircraft can, with pure water for a spot-free result, and we cleaned the glass canopies at Quincy Market with the plaza open beneath them.

How We Do It

The Method, Not the Marketing.

Overhead glass is a different job from a window. It carries the weight of everything the sky drops on it, it cannot be walked on, and the space beneath it is usually the busiest part of the property. The aircraft clean it from above with pure water at controlled pressure while an attended exclusion zone keeps the space below safe, and a pole and a lift finish the edges and the interior face. Frames, gutters and drains around the glass are cleared at the same time, because a blocked skylight gutter is the leak that shows up in the next storm.

Solar panels get pure water and a soft brush and nothing else. Detergent leaves a film that cuts output, and pressure can void the manufacturer's warranty. Pollen, salt and soot on a New England array cost real output over a season, and a cleaning before summer and after leaf drop brings it back.

Pricing and Scheduling

How We Price It, and When We Show Up.

How we price it

One price per property, built from a takeoff

Overhead glass and panel area are measured on the site walk, the access and the space beneath are noted, and production rates are applied for the aircraft, pole and lift. That gives one price per property with mobilization, purified water, site protection, permits, police detail where the canopy fronts a public way, insurance and the closing walk included. Recurring programs, monthly for a public canopy or twice a year for a solar array, are priced below the first clean.

Scheduling and site protection

Around your tenants, not through them

Public canopies and atriums are cleaned around the property's hours with the space open, sequenced by section, with an attended exclusion zone under the aircraft. Solar arrays are cleaned in the early morning or on overcast days when the panels are cool. Interior atrium glass is scheduled after hours through your management office.

Straight Answers

Property Managers Ask Us.

Can you clean a glass canopy over an entrance that never closes?

Yes. The canopies at Quincy Market are cleaned with the marketplace open, in sections, with spotters keeping the space below clear and no scaffolding anywhere. The first cleaning there became a monthly program.

Does cleaning solar panels really increase output?

Yes. Pollen, salt, soot and bird droppings shade the cells and cut output through the season. A pure-water cleaning removes the film without detergent residue, and the array is back to what it was designed to produce.

Will you walk on our skylights or panels?

No. Overhead glass and panels are cleaned from the aircraft, from poles and from lifts, never by a person walking on them.

Do you clean the inside of the atrium glass too?

Yes. Interior faces and the high partition glass below them are done from lifts and poles after hours, on the same proposal as the exterior.

Can you also do the windows and the plaza while you are there?

Yes. Window cleaning, facade washing and plaza pressure washing can sit on the same proposal, from one crew under one certificate of insurance.
