Are you tired of having your engineering team get on the roof during winter?
Your engineers stay off the roof. You get the data after a storm. The paths to your equipment get cleared, at prices set before the season.
Plans run December 1 to March 31. Roof walks are being scheduled now.
Commercial Roof Snow Removal. Three problems your engineers already know.
Your engineers were hired to run the building, not shovel the roof. Every winter climb is time off the job and a risk your team carries.
Engineers become a snow crew
Days on the roof with shovels, right when the building needs them most.
Nobody knows what is up there
Is a unit buried? Does anyone even need to go up? Right now, nobody knows.
A unit fails mid-storm
Dig it out first, then fix it, while the tenants wait.
It is a plan. Before, after, and when it is time to clear.
Pre-treat
We treat your access corridors and drains with a chloride free liquid, so snow and ice do not bond there.
Report
We fly the roof and send you the data: what is covered, the drifts, the drains, the access paths.
Clear
Our crews clear the access paths, at prices set in your agreement before the season.
Your engineers get the data without going up. We do the shoveling.
Before, During and After. You Never Have to Call Us.
3 in or ice
3 inches or more, or any freezing rain or sleet.
Pre-treat
Corridors and drains, typically 12 to 24 hours ahead.
The storm
We track it for your roof.
We fly
After a storm of 3 inches or more, within 24 to 48 hours, weather permitting.
Your report
The day we fly: what is covered, what is buried, drifts and drains.
Cleared
Or already approved. Then the paths are treated again.
Built Around the Path, Not a Unit Count.
- 1Every door to every systemFrom your roof doors to the rooftop systems you need reached, routed past every drain.
- 2Drawn with your engineerApproved by you. Add a system, we add the path.
- 3Room to workWide enough to work beside each unit when it needs service.
Your engineers get the data. You decide what happens next.
One report after the storm, ready to forward to ownership. It ends with the next step under your plan, never our opinion.
What is a threshold? The condition in the report that starts a service, for example more than half the drains covered or a drift reaching a rooftop system. You set each one. Automatic means no reply needed. Ask me first means nothing happens without your word. These are example settings.
Reports are measurements and estimates, not a structural assessment; your engineer makes the structural calls.
Depth is read at the stakes.
Corridor, drain and drift zone clearing each have a price per depth band in your agreement, so the band is never an argument.
What Goes on Your Roof, and What Never Does.
✓Goes on your roof
- A chloride-free liquid de-icer, on your corridors and drains only
- Plastic shovels
- Depth stakes on weighted bases
- A protective layer of snow left on the membrane
×Never goes on your roof
- Rock salt
- De-icer across the whole roof
- Anything drilled or fastened
- Shovels on top of your equipment

One Team, From the Map to the Shovel.
Every roof is priced from its own map. Paying for the season up front costs less than paying monthly.
Engineers and Property Managers Ask Us.
Does my team still need to go on the roof?
To service equipment, yes, on a mapped, pre-treated path that we clear at your thresholds. To shovel or to check after a storm, no. The report shows what is covered, what is buried and where the drifts are.
Who is on my roof, and how is it controlled?
AeroClean crews, working only on the corridors, drains and drift zones in your agreement; partners join only for whole roof clearing, which always waits for your yes. We use the roof doors marked on your map and stay out of any area you mark off limits. Your engineer is welcome on the roof whenever we are up there.
What if a unit fails during a storm?
The path to it is already mapped and pre-treated, so nobody digs to find it. One call or reply orders the clearing at the price in your agreement, and if you chose Automatic for the corridor, it may already be open.
Who decides when you clear?
You do. For each service you choose Automatic, so the crew is scheduled with no reply needed when your threshold is reached, or Ask me first, so nothing happens without your word. Whole roof clearing is never automatic: it waits for your yes, and we let your engineer know.
Do small storms count?
Yes. Storms under 3 inches still count. When the running total since your roof was last clear reaches 6 inches, we fly and report, so a run of small storms gets the same attention as one big one. Example: 2 inches, then 2, then 2 more.
What is the difference between Essential and Premium?
The two plan levels differ in how many pre-treatments and storm reports each month includes. Both include the weather watch, the month-end report and rollover of unused visits until March 31. The November setup is a one-time fee on either plan.
Do you clear the whole roof?
Corridor clearing opens the paths to your rooftop systems and every drain. Drain-only clearing, drift zone clearing and whole roof clearing are also on your rate card. Every clearing ends with a de-icer treatment of your mapped corridors and drains.
What if it is a light winter?
You pay the setup and the plan, nothing else. The roof is still watched, pre-treatments go down before a forecast of 3 inches or more or any freezing rain or sleet, and the month-end report still arrives. Pre-treatments and storm reports you do not use roll forward until March 31; they are not refunded. Clearing is billed only when it is done, under your Automatic settings or your yes.
Can this get approved before December?
Yes, if we walk the roof by early November. After the walk you get a written proposal your owner can approve and a short agreement with your plan and clearing prices in it. Setup happens after you sign, before December 1.
What are we signing?
A short agreement for one season, December 1 to March 31. You pick Essential or Premium, monthly or paid up front, and Automatic or Ask me first for corridor, drain and drift zone clearing. Clearing prices up to 24 inches are written in it, and anything deeper or outside your map is quoted before the work, so nothing is billed that you have not seen.
How much snow does Boston get?
Boston averages about 49 inches a year, and nearly all of it falls between December and March.
A short call, then a roof walk. Your proposal after the walk.
Leave your details. We call you, walk the roof with your engineer and price your plan for the season.
Thank you. Your roof is on our list.
