Weston Window Cleaning for Cedar, Glass and Well Water.
Window cleaning, house washing and roof and gutter care for Weston, where the houses are big, the lots are wooded and half the exterior is cedar. We bring our own water, keep the runoff where it belongs and quote after we have walked the property.

What We Clean on a Weston Home.
What Makes Weston Different.
What comes out of the tap
Weston buys MWRA water for most of town, which is soft and rarely spots glass, but the system has only a few thousand connections and a share of outlying homes still run on private wells. Well water in Weston carries iron and minerals that dry as orange or white haze on windows. We never rinse with the house's water. Every exterior pane gets a pure-water rinse from our own tank, and nearly every property is on septic, so the tank also means we are not drawing down your well to wash the house.
What grows on the house
Weston's design guidelines steer builders toward cedar shingle and wood clapboard, so the town has more cedar per house than anywhere else we work. Cedar under oak and white pine, beside Cat Rock and the Weston Reservoir conservation land, grows moss and lichen on the north side and collects sap and pollen on the rest. Cedar is cleaned at low pressure with a solution made for wood. A pressure washer lifts the grain, opens the shakes and takes years off the roof, so we do not own one for this job.
What to know before we come
Weston has no local historic district commission reviewing private homes. The Boston Post Road Historic District is a National Register listing, which recognizes the houses but places no restrictions on how you maintain them, and the Historical Commission's role is limited to demolition review. Nearly every house is on septic, so we keep wash water and runoff off the leach field and away from the well head. Long private drives are normal here and our truck fits most of them. Where a drive is gravel or freshly paved we stop at the road and carry the hoses in.
Weston Homeowners Ask Us.
My house is on a well and septic. Does that change how you work?
Yes, in two ways. The rinse water comes from our own filtered tank rather than your well, and we plan the wash so runoff stays off the leach field. Both are standard for us in Weston.
Will your cedar cleaning strip the color from my shingles?
No. The solution removes the biological growth and the gray-black film, not the wood. Shingles that have silvered naturally stay silver. If you want the color restored, that is a separate brightening step we can quote.
Can you reach the high glass on a Kendal Common modern?
Yes. Fixed panes up to the roofline are cleaned with water-fed poles from the ground, and where a ladder is required we use stand-offs so nothing rests on the glass or the trim.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Two to three weeks in spring and fall, less in summer. Larger Weston properties are usually a full day for a two-person crew, so we set aside the whole day rather than squeezing you between smaller jobs.
